Dr. Jun-Yu Fan is President and Distinguished Professor of Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST), Taiwan, and Vice President of the Taiwan Nurses Association. A Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, she is a recognized leader in healthcare education, workforce development, and institutional innovation.

With academic training from the University of Washington, the University of Maryland, and National Taiwan University, Dr. Fan brings a strong combination of clinical expertise, academic leadership, and strategic vision. Beginning her career in critical care nursing, she has long championed the integration of practice, research, and education to advance health professions training.

As President of CGUST, Dr. Fan is leading the transformation of healthcare education through AI-enabled learning, digital innovation, simulation-based training, and competency-based curriculum design. Under her leadership, CGUST is preparing future-ready professionals for the rapidly evolving era of intelligent and human-centered care.

Kimberley is an award-winning teacher and tech enthusiast with a passion for transforming learning. She has extensive experience in primary, secondary, and higher education, and has collaborated with systems of education around the world. Kimberley was the first female in Australia to be both a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Certified Trainer, and she specializes in helping educators and education systems leverage technology for impactful change. Her work at Google focuses on empowering leaders and learners, building global communities, and fostering innovation through the effective use of Google tools.
Dr. Mahsa McCauley
Dr. Mahsa McCauley is a globally recognised leader in artificial intelligence, celebrated for her pioneering research, strategic influence, and unwavering commitment to diversity in technology. Appointed as Communication and Information Commissioner for the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO, Mahsa continues to shape the future of technology and education on a global scale.

Her journey into computing began at age seven, when she helped her father build a computer, igniting a lifelong passion for technology. This early curiosity led her to pursue a PhD at Massey University, where she developed a groundbreaking hybrid machine translation system for English and Persian, combining statistical and linguistic techniques to improve translation accuracy.

As an Associate Professor at Auckland University of Technology, Mahsa blends academic leadership with real-world impact. She has supervised over 70 research projects and authored more than 80 publications across AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, and natural language processing. Her recent work includes the development of the Scaffolded AI Literacy (SAIL) framework for education and advancements in neural networks for sound event detection.

Melissa Law

Melissa Law is the APJ Partnerships Manager for the Intel Skills for Innovation Program, where she drives technology integration in education. With over eight years of experience, she has spearheaded the implementation of tech-driven solutions in classrooms, creating dynamic and innovative learning experiences. A passionate EdTech advocate, Melissa has led numerous workshops for educators and students, empowering them to harness technology for enhanced learning.

She co-created the Intel AI for Youth program, making AI accessible to students, and has developed cutting-edge initiatives like Junior AI Explorer and AR/VR-based learning modules. Her work leverages immersive technologies to transform abstract concepts into engaging, hands-on experiences. With a background in computer science, Melissa is dedicated to making learning fun, inclusive, and future-ready.

Dr. Michael Lin

Dr. Michael Lin is Research Scientist at MIT and director of Taipei CityScience, specializing in complex urban systems with over 15 years of experience in leading collaboration with Fortune 500 & the public sectors around the world to craft future urban mobility from concepts to reality.

Michael leads the MIT Media Lab City Science future mobility research focusing on Mobility-On-Demand, Lightweight Autonomous Vehicles, and new mobility modes. Michael manages a team of experts and scientists with diverse backgrounds to explore how transportation innovations will reshape our future mobility landscape. He is the inventor of the MIT Persuasive Electric Vehicle (PEV), a shared-use, lightweight autonomous vehicle that aims to solve last-mile transport and freight logistics in dense urban areas. Michael’s work received awards from the Buckminster Fuller Challenge, IF, and Core77 design awards and was featured by The Discovery Channel, Der Spiegel, and The New York Times, and was displayed in exhibitions, conferences, and summits worldwide.

Michael received his Ph.D. degree from MIT Media Lab and two master’s degrees from MIT: a Master of Science in Media Arts and Sciences program and a Master of Science in Architecture Studies with a focus on urban design. Before MIT’s education, Michael received a Bachelor in Architecture from Feng Chia University in Taiwan.

Michael’s other inventions include the RoboScooter, a lightweight electric folding scooter designed as a clean, green mobility solution, and GreenWheel, an electrical propulsion system that integrates a lithium-ion battery pack with a DC motor that can be attached to existing bicycles.

Julia Chen (PhD, FTCL, PFHEA) is the Director of the Educational Development Centre and Associate Professor (courtesy) of the Department of English and Communication at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interests include leveraging technology for education, learning analytics for quality enhancement, and English Across the Curriculum. She (co-)leads large-scale multi-university projects on GenAI in education. Julia has won numerous awards, such as recently the Outstanding Educator Award from EDUtech Asia for her visionary leadership, the QS Reimagine Education Awards Breakthrough Technology Innovation in Education Silver Prize, the Hong Kong UGC Teaching Award, EdTech Heroes Learning Experience Award, Paper Award in Learning Analytics, and twice her university’s President Award for Excellent Performance in teaching and service respectively. Julia is a popular speaker and has been invited to give keynotes and talks in France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Morocco, Singapore, Sweden, the Chinese Mainland, UK and USA; and to showcase her expertise at UNESCO's Digital Learning Week in their Paris Headquarters, Times Higher Education’s podcast and Campus+, and Advance HE’s online publication HE Horizons. She has been honoured with the lifetime designation of Distinguished Fellow by the Association for Writing Across the Curriculum in the USA, and is appointed Chair of the Hong Kong Teaching Excellence Alliance initiated by the Hong Kong University Grants Committee.
Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Gruel

Wolfgang is a professor at Stuttgart Media University, focusing on digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and sustainable urban systems. His work at the MIT Media Lab, Fraunhofer IAO, and the Institute for Mobility and Digital Innovation explores how digital technologies transform cities and education. Previously, he worked as an entrepreneur and innovation manager at Daimler, where he developed shared mobility services such as car2go and the mobility platform moovel. He also led autonomous mobility initiatives at Daimler Mobility Services. Wolfgang holds a Ph.D. from RWTH Aachen University and served as a visiting Guest Director at the City Science Lab Taipei.
